Do you know that you can download an excel file for all the players in the draft.....if you really want to know who took a player on your list, just look at the excel chart for the player_id and do a search in your browser. Not rocket science mate.

Yes, my friend, I am familiar with having all 334 rookies in a spreadsheet. That is, indeed, how I sift through and track all the available players. The player id is a good suggestion that I hadn't thought to use to take time and figure out who's name changed. I usually delete the player id column from the sheet to save space, thinking I will never need that data for anything. But alas, i guess i'm wrong. Thank you.

I had posted a thread about name changing before the inaugural draft. I then found out, the hard way, that you couldn't change names after the draft was complete. I have to agree with Grandads idea about waiting until the 6th round to change names. By then, the owners should've crossed off, or do what they do with drafted players, leaving a small amount of players t check.
