Please accept this as my last post in this thread. Rest assured, I will never tell any of you to F off. Never have I posted anything like that on any of these forums. Think about the last time someone told you that and how you reacted. In this particular setting, it's immature and completely uncalled for, regardless of my response. Yes, I'm sad to report that Slowtospeak has left the league because of this mess. I'm taking full responsibility for this mess, and I apologize to all the owners of the league. He was a very good owner and I'm upset that he left. He will be missed. I will reach out to him to come back. I truly hope he does. However, it's also come to my attention that Bugs, who just made all those trades to the Jaguars, wants to switch teams from the Seahawks to the Jaguars. I said no to Bugs, for obvious reasons. I have also contacted Slow and asked him to come back. I had added 2 amendments, yesterday, regarding Trades and Switching Teams. Please read and send me comments or questions. Thanks.
1. Slow overreacted. In culmination, that trade was the straw that broke the camel's back. 2. Bugs pattern of behaviour is concerning. The abuse at not being able to trade. The endless spamming of trades. Ignorance of what the free tier provides. Not listening and taking on board advice given. 3. Kosmic is a good guy.
Slow refers to this shadowy cabal as if the game is worthy of the Illuminati. it's not. Kosmic made a decision based around a pattern of behaviour - not around slow but around the other owner. Being blunt, people were licking their lips looking to fleece Bugs.
Bugs behaviour is concerning. I take on board they may be a child, but the obsession with demanding being allowed to trade, conduct in the forum, refusing to engage and learn has me at this point leaning towards troll. I hope I'm wrong, but wanting to take over Jags ( and for disclosure, he contacted me asking how to ) is concerning. Give away Seahawks picks, then jump ship immediately when a good owner leaves so that it a) avoids the effort of building your team up and b) screws over anyone taking over Seahawks indicates to me someone not really concerned about the integrity of the league, game or having any respect for other players. I do have other suspicions, but that's for another day.
Great post, Martin! Thanks for the kind words and insights. I concur that Bugs needs help in understanding the ways of MFN. It would not be fair to the other owners if Bugs was allowed to take over the Jags at this point due to all the trades that were made.
I encourage all to chime in when they notice things that don't see quite right in the league. I also encourage all to help players who want to be helped with this game.
