I have decided to clear the cap for all teams today. Due to the glitch, from the inaugural draft, it needed to be done. Now, I tip my hat, send you lots of "atta boys", to those that were able to keep themselves out dead cap trouble. I wish I could do more for you, by giving you some compensation for a job well done, but I'm not able to. Sorry.

Is this the only time we are gonna do this? If not I will start making crazy offers during free agency with no concerns moving forward.

Don't get me wrong I am perfectly fine clearing dead cap every season. With over half league computer teams it evens playing field when trying to sign an aging veteran with no fear of high cost later down the road. Just need to know what to expect and play accordingly

So much for doing the honorable thing...

The only reason I've cleared the cap was because of the contract mess created from the inaugural draft. As I stated, if I could give "extra credit freebies" to those who stayed on top of everything, during all of this, I would, but I can't. Honorable thing, I believe, was to clear the cap because it was something no one expected or dealt with before.
Going forward, only new owners, who inherit a dead cap mess, will have their dead cap cleared unless glitches, like the one we just experienced, happens again.
Again, I apologize for all the confusion created by the mess.

What a pity... I expected at least 2 additional early round draft picks :-D
