The Chargers have high expectations for "Soup" Campbell, who will be starting at CB2. Fingers are crossed, both hands. The Charger pass defense is ranked 19th in yardage allowed per game, 10th in completion %, and tied for 9th in intercepts.

It's been reported that a trade has taken place today between the Saints and the (Super)Chargers. The Chargers gave up a #1 pick for Frank Campbell. The locker room is buzzing with excitement and Campbell has already been given the nickname "Soup" by his teammates. The owner has high expectations, for "Soup", to bolster a defensive backfield that is struggling at the moment. This sounds like exciting news for the (Super)Chargers and their fans.
This reporter has only one question to ask the owner, "So Grandad, is "Soup" chunky Beef to add some strength and variety to that D or is he going to be Chix Noodle where his play gets softer and bland as the game goes on?" Only time will tell, right? |

Ha! great write up Koz, enjoy seeing others having fun and adding to this MFN game and experience.
Only time will tell, right? Am betting on chunky beef. Normally, I would not have given up a 1st round pick for a DB with 5 years on him, but am throwin the dice on "Soup". based on his speed, cover skill level, and his stats. Some MFN players exceed their ratings, some equal, and some dont come close, it also depends on other factors, like play selection/def gameplan, the league (number and level of owners) and of course, the "sim". All in all, and based on the need, I think Soup was well worth the shot and cost. Frank "Soup" Campbell "Happy to be a Bolt, I plan on stayin one the rest of my career and helpin this team get a ring, its time to put up or shut up"

First game out, CB2, was not thrown at by the Chiefs. They did not want to stir the Soup.
