ARLINGTON, TX – The Cowboys continued their impressive start to the 2028 regular season with a decisive 50-3 home victory over the Seahawks on Sunday. Head coach Walter Bullock’s team remains undefeated at 3-0 and holds the top spot in the division standings after a comprehensive performance in multiple facets of the game.

The Cowboys opened the scoring early in the first quarter with a 69-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Michael Turner to running back Robert Newhouse, setting the tone for the contest. Newhouse had a breakout day, finishing with 97 rushing yards, two touchdowns on the ground, plus 122 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. Turner completed 32 of 40 passes for 389 yards and three touchdowns but was intercepted once.

Offensive balance was a major factor as Kenneth Graham also contributed significantly with 121 rushing yards, along with 41 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns. Tight ends Billy Joe DuPree and Albert Almaraz provided key receptions, with Almaraz adding a rushing touchdown to his 79 receiving yards.

The Cowboys defense played a crucial role, sacking Seahawks quarterback Matt Maddox twice and forcing turnovers, including an interception by Michael Brannum and a fumble recovery by Brandon Rutland. Maddox struggled to move the offense, completing only 15 of 30 passes for 137 yards, throwing one interception, and managing -13 yards rushing.

An early interception thrown by the Seahawks set up multiple Cowboys scoring opportunities. The home team capitalized with three first-quarter touchdowns to create a commanding 27-0 lead. Kicker Austin Atkinson was perfect on field goal attempts, converting all three kicks in the first half, including a 52-yard and a 31-yard field goal, supplementing the Cowboys’ dominant ground and aerial attack.

Special teams played a steady role as well, with several long punts from Dallas giving the Cowboys solid field position throughout the game. Penalties were relatively low for both teams, with the Cowboys committing five for 30 yards, and the Seahawks also penalized five times for 50 yards.

The Seahawks managed only a single field goal late in the second quarter to break the shutout, failing to find the end zone despite multiple possessions. Their offense was limited by the aggressive Dallas defensive front, which recorded five sacks and consistently pressured the quarterback.

With the win, the Cowboys improve their division record to 1-0 and extend their unbeaten streak to three games. The Seahawks fall to 0-3 and will look to regroup after a difficult start to the season.

The Cowboys will look to maintain their dominant form as they continue through the regular season, while the Seahawks face mounting pressure to find answers in upcoming matchups.
