Baltimore, MD – The Ravens secured a 20-13 victory over the Browns in their Week 10 regular season matchup at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday. The win improves Baltimore’s record to 9-1 and keeps them atop the division standings with a perfect 5-0 division record.

The Ravens took an early lead in the first quarter when quarterback Sam Daniels connected on a 46-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Michael Gottschalk, who finished the game with 111 receiving yards and a rushing touchdown. Ryan McSweeney added the extra point, giving Baltimore a 7-0 lead.

Baltimore extended their lead late in the first quarter with a 33-yard field goal by McSweeney, putting the Ravens up 10-0. The Browns responded in the second quarter with two field goals from kicker Tony Cahoon, closing the gap to 10-3.

Midway through the second quarter, Ravens quarterback Sam Daniels found Conrad Oxendine for a 23-yard reception that positioned the offense inside the 5-yard line. Soon after, Brian Delvalle punched in a 1-yard rushing touchdown, expanding Baltimore’s lead to 17-3 at halftime. Delvalle also contributed 65 rushing yards and 13 receiving yards for the Ravens.

The Browns capitalized on a 74-yard kickoff return by Anthony Headen to score a touchdown early in the third quarter, making the score 20-9 after Cahoon’s extra point. However, that would be the Browns’ last scoring drive.

Baltimore’s defense, led by strong pressure from linebacker Justin Chiaramonte who recorded two sacks, held the Browns without a touchdown pass as quarterback William Thomas finished with 98 passing yards and an interception.

The Ravens converted both of their field goal attempts and had a notable special teams performance from Billy Sinclair, who punted three times for over 140 yards. Meanwhile, the Browns relied predominantly on their ground game, rushing 32 times for 118 yards but failing to find the end zone.

Baltimore showed disciplined play with only five penalties for 41 yards. The Browns committed three penalties for 26 yards.

This victory keeps the Ravens undefeated in division play and bolsters their standing as they push toward the postseason. The Browns, now 6-4 with a 2-2 mark in the division, will look to regroup as they face upcoming challenges.

Head coach Joseph Roland’s team continues to display a balanced offensive attack and solid defense, critical factors in extending their winning streak to one game after a difficult stretch.

Ravens kicker Ryan McSweeney was perfect on field goal attempts and extra points, contributing crucial points in the low-scoring contest. The offense amassed a total of 338 passing yards led by Daniels, who completed 22 of 33 attempts.

The Browns struggled to move the ball through the air but found moderate success on the ground. Nonetheless, their inability to convert drives into touchdowns limited their scoring opportunities.

Baltimore’s next game will be crucial in maintaining their dominant position in the division as they continue their push for a postseason berth.
