I will be utilizing the speed exploits, and keep in mind, it reduces the importance of the draft and "position" players, thats why you will see my roster has many low default rated players, but is leading division/conf. I dont mind playing either way, but its not as much an NFL simulation when you have a low rated WR with over a 5 yd average per carry, or a CB leading the sack category. I would prefer the challenge of making good draft choices but... until that is a control and not a rule, its not worth the hassle. Already have had leagues with roster/position and minimum play selection/use rules, which was preferred by many, but was a pain to continually monitor and enforce.

I remember that one of the leagues I joined, when I came back, was like that. I was always being reminded, by other owners, that one or more of my players did not meet weight requirements and had to either sit and gain the weight needed or switch positions, that was on his card, that met his weight. I could see how that would be more challenging but hard to monitor. Cars have programs designed to alert a driver if his tire, oil, or engine is out of whack. Couldn't JDB design a program, for each position, (10 offendive, 9 defensive, punter and kicker=21 programs) that would alert an owner, and league, when a teams players weight is not right? I don't know how difficult, or time consuming, it would be but, do them once and they would benefit future leagues greatly. Actually only 20 is needed as ride and lde are the same weight. Yes?

I would much rather have the reasons these things don't happen in RL. I. E. an out-of-position running back should be a fumble dispenser, an out-of-position DE should be a turnstile in the running game, etc. etc. Rather than banning them outright, include the reasons almost nobody does them.

Which is why the NFL does not do it, there are exceptions, but rare, and usually position converts where the weight and speed were not that far off.
