GG Browns. Your squad has a very good chance to win the title.

Good game Jags .. you missing 2 extra points at least made me think maybe I could steal a win. Nope .. it sucks to **** but thankfully the blood bath is over and I can start focusing on the off season. U or the Oilers bring home the trophy got to support the division.

Well, it will be them for sure. I have some tuff injuries and will almost certainly be a quick exit.

We blew the bye for the PO's, Kab/Ravens gave a nice gift to Ole's Browns. I dont think Ive ever had a worse performance by a kicker, missing all 3 XP's. SMH. Ive had non kickers do better than he did, lol. Oh well, picked up a couple things to adjust in the defense, so maybe that will help to keep us alive. For the POs I may not try a FG or XP after that debacle.
I remember playing electric football, ha! (pic below) Should bring back some memories for some......

Grandad, you brought back vivid memories of the electric vibrating football game lol. Our set had a QB with a spring loaded arm that would pass little footballs made of cotton or felt or something like that. I would always find something to tuck under one side of the playing field so my players would all go toward the endzone quicker lol. Anyway, thank you for bringing back some fun memories.
I would also like to thank the Ravens for helping us get the bye week. My expectations are so low. During and after our initial league draft, I would have never expected to even make the playoffs. But our roster seems to be alright and some players are finally getting healthy. Maybe that will help give us a chance to win in the playoffs. Good luck to all the playoff teams! |

I wanted to get the full set of teams, never did. They did a great job of painting those players. We would use a record album cover to put on the LOS, with rules about having your OL inside the hashes, and others. There were a lot of close calls on the passing, lol, whether or not the felt ball hit the receiver. They still play it, there is an international league, and a video of the championship game, its amazing how they adjust the tabs and modify players, especially the RBs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzDgRJVSOs8 championship game video, lol. I think I had about every football game made from 1965 to 75, Photo Electric, APBA, Stratomatic, Sports Illustrated, but the first game I ever played was at a friends house, the players were rubber with magnetic bases and you use two sticks to move players on the field, ha. That was when I really got hooked into football. |

My dad and I played this talking Monday night football game, which had a compact record player and small records with different offensive plays on one side and defensive plays on the other. Then we also played the original football game for the Atari 2600. Yeah we had a few football games growing up. Can't tell you how many hours I had into Tecmo Bowl. Ah the good ol days!
